We're excited to announce another new release of the MindLink product suite. The release of version 20.2 brings with it support for Ethical Walls, a noteworthy utility in the products' security and classification tool set, along with various bug fixes and improvements.
Below is an overview of the changes.
The full release notes can be found on the documentation site.
New Rules for Version 20.2
This release introduces control over partitioning of the user-base.
Multi-Tenant Instant Messaging Ethical Walls
We implemented an integrated ethical wall layer into the MindLink server, so that 1-2-1 and multiparty interactions between users can be partitioned based on customizable rule sets.
The rule sets themselves will define user behaviour from a third-party attribute server. MindLink has a rule-based engine to evaluate which users are permitted or denied from speaking, based on predefined user partitions and allow/deny rules.
For those who only use MindLink Anywhere to access Skype for Business, this creates an effective ethical walling system between areas of the user estate.
